Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Manager for a company based in Devon/Cornwall area.

The position is a permanent position from day one.

We are looking for a Project Manager for a nationwide specialist construction company with a large client base in the food industry to be based in the Southwest, on the Devon/Cornwall boarders.

Salary and benefits:

* £45 - 50K per annum depending on experience

* Company car

* Petrol cards

* Company laptop

Ideal candidates will have:

* Extensive experience working within the construction industry.

* Experience as a project manager.

* MCIOB or RICS qualification.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

* To maintain and develop the company with existing and new clients.

* To lead and oversee construction projects from concept to completion (including ordering material and invoicing).

* To manage and coordinate a small locally based work force and sub-contractors.

* To be able to measure and estimate value of projects for clients.

* To have good communication skills with employers/clients and their representatives

* To be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* To be able to work on their own from home with assistance as and when from Head office.

* To have good computer and administrative skills to maintain project files.
