Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teams in ensuring surveys meet legal and other requirements and promote efficiency in enabling fire safety works.
  • Ensure surveys are performed thoroughly managing risk and exposure to asbestos of our employees.
  • Develop survey reports that are clear and concise to support the fire safety works to be performed.
  • Develop relationships with accredited labs to enable processing of samples. Ensure samples test results are then captured in reports.
  • Assist in developing asbestos management processes and procedures of the business to gain UKAS accreditation.
  • Assist in training other newly qualified employees in surveying to grow the surveying function of the business.
  • Attending meetings, representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders, providing advice on remediation and removal projects
  • Field based role will need a full-UK driving licence and will be required to support clients across the UK.

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Holding the BOHS P402 and having at least 18months experience is essential to the role.
  • Holding the BOHS P403 / P404 would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
  • Able to work to a schedule.
  • Knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines.
  • Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
