We're seeking a Linux and Azure Systems Engineer to spearhead innovation and progress within our dynamic team.

We're on the hunt for a skilled Linux and Azure Systems Engineer (Contract) who is passionate about merging the robustness of Linux with the agility of Azure cloud services. This dynamic role centers on developing and overseeing cutting-edge cloud-based systems, ensuring top-notch performance and security within our Linux frameworks.

Oversee Linux system management, handling everything from setup to performance optimisation.
Craft and uphold system monitoring strategies to guarantee uptime and system health.
Foster teamwork across departments for integrated Linux and cloud technologies.
Guide and support peers on Linux-centric challenges, advocating for best practices.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in Linux and cloud technologies.
Steer system implementation and infrastructure development in both traditional and cloud settings.
Proficient in Linux system administration, particularly with RHEL/CentOS.
Familiar with SSH, text editing in Linux, and scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Strong foundation in Azure services and infrastructure, with practical experience in IaC tools like Terraform.
Capability to implement monitoring solutions and comprehend Azure's security and compliance landscape.
Diverse IT knowledge, especially around Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS, within hybrid environments.
Strategic in infrastructure architecture, understanding the principles of network and system design.


Desirable Qualities:

Industry certifications in Azure or related fields.
Experience with security tools, application SSL certificates, and cloud services like AWS or GCP.
An appreciation for AI and Machine Learning in cloud services.

Our collaborative workspace expects regular office engagement, with flexibility to work 1 day per week at our Kings Cross location.
