Job Title Security Analyst Job Description Cyber Security at SageSage’s Global Security Function was created in 2019 and governance of cyber security in Sage is an example of true cross-functional collaboration. It is an independent Function in the Office of the General Counsel, outside technology business areas, demonstrates that cyber security is considered a business risk, not simply the preserve of the technology functions. Cyber Security Awareness and Engagement’s mission is to make cyber security human. Engagement and Awareness is a relatively new team in Sage’s Global Security Function, alongside other disciplines of security: Engineering, Application Security, Governance, risk and compliance and our 24/7 Cyber Defence Operations Unit. We are focussed on high visibility, high impact and maturing our work in a data driven way. A small team of two, three including this new role, we are friendly, informal and driven. We are relentlessly focussed on how we can make Sage more secure and are evangelical about getting under the skin of problems, analysing what is going on and finding the right (not overengineered) solutions and having fun while we do it. Key Responsibilities A highly motivated and driven individual to support the development of Sage’s Cyber Security Awareness and Engagement team and broader Global Security Function’s security objectives. Analytical, proactive and able to develop solutions to problems whilst building relationships and support across the business. The role will support the co-ordination and delivery of cross-cutting cyber security projects to improve the effectiveness of the function and will require strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will ensure the effective reporting of security awareness and engagement workstreams and technical security training delivery. Taking forward workstreams on security culture, security behaviours, security champions and customer security you will be a passionate evangeliser for cyber security and motivated to learn how deliver measurable cyber security risk reduction to the business. A day in the life of a SAGE Security Analyst - Working with Security Champions to develop a strong security capability in assigned Product Engineering or Development teams
- Responsible for metrics and measures from key security programmes, reporting to the CISO and CRO
- Responsible for delivering events, comms and training to the security champions in collaboration with security colleagues
- Maintaining awareness of the changing security landscape by participating in relevant security groups, forums, or conferences Do these tick your boxes?• Ability to generate buy in for projects and drive change to deliver to deadlines
