We are seeking to recruit a CAD Technician to join a leading textiles company in County Down. You’ll join a dynamic team dedicated to creating innovative products. Their company values collaboration, creativity, and excellence, and they’re excited to welcome a skilled professional like you.

Your new role

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Product Development Account Manager to bring new ideas to life. Your responsibilities will include:
  • CAD Proficiency: Utilising CAD software to develop intricate patterns and designs that align with customer specifications.
  • Technical Drawings: Reading and interpreting customer technical drawings, translating them into functional patterns.
  • Quality Assurance: Conducting First Article inspections to ensure all products meet exact specifications.
  • Continuous Learning: Attending internal and external training courses to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborating with other departments and external suppliers professionally.

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have: Design Engineering Experience: At least 2 years in a similar discipline. Basic Knowledge of Quality Management Systems: Desirable, but training will be provided. Computer Proficiency: Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
