We are looking for Back-End Java Developers to sit within our clients’ digital team and be a part of some very  exciting & bespoke digital transformation projects .

You will HAVE to go through Security Clearance for this position, so only apply if you can confirm:

  • You  HAVE lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
  • You  HAVE NOT left the UK for more than 28 days consecutively in the last 5 years.

THE BASICS:

As the Back End Developer, you will initially be working on a client’s site working on secure projects, contributing to the design and code as well as testing simple high-level items downwards.

The ideal individual will have knowledge of  Behavioural Driven Development (BDD)and/or  Test Driven Development (TDD)practices and processes along with Agile experience in a multi-discipline team working in rapid iterations, with a user-focused mindset.

THE TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Developers with strong demonstrable experience of  Java 7/8as well as an understanding of Object Relational Mapping (ORM)technologies such as;  JDBI, Spring or Hibernate/NHibernate and knowledge of  dependency injection will be of interest.

If you have working knowledge with  database technologies , including but not limited to;  PostgreSQL, Redis and NoSQL as well as experience building microservices including RESTful services with the use of open source technologies, please get in touch  TODAY

Any knowledge of  Jenkins or other  CI tools as well as  GIT, JUnit or TestNG will hold you in good stead.
