Role & Responsibilities

This role reports to the Head of Finance and has a wide list of responsibilities covering financial reporting, controllership and analysis; giving great exposure across the business and huge opportunity for the successful candidate to learn and grow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of day to day accounting and financial compliance including preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and annual audit support
  • FP&A duties including assisting with the annual budget process, preparation of monthly departmental variance analysis reports and Board reporting
  • Cash planning and treasury management
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and project work involving business partnering with a range of non-finance stakeholders
  • Other areas include cap table management, assistance with commercial contract reviews and payroll processing.

About you

We’re looking for an ambitious, hands-on financial whizz who wants to throw themselves into the exciting world of climate tech You should be technically strong as well as aligned to UNDO’s values and passionate about what we do as a business.

Essential:

  • You are a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ICAS) ideally with 1+ years PQE from a top 10 firm
  • Experience of building and working with complex financial models
  • Strong technical financial accounting and tax experience
  • Outstanding financial analysis skills
  • Ability to problem solve and to work independently
  • Experience of designing and implementing financial controls
  • Ability to adapt to change and work with uncertainty
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate financial information across all levels of the organisation
