Location: Nottingham

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Vibe Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and well-established automotive service provider, who is looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join their team in Nottingham . This is a great opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

About the Role:
As an MOT Tester , you will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests on a range of vehicles, diagnosing faults, and ensuring all vehicles are compliant with road safety regulations. You will be an integral part of the team, delivering high-quality service to customers and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MOT tests on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and legal standards.
  • Diagnose faults and identify any issues with vehicles during the MOT process.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of test results and offer advice on necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all MOT tests, repairs, and inspections carried out.
  • Ensure all equipment is well-maintained, calibrated, and in full working order.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service , providing professional advice and assistance to customers.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Ideally, You Will Have:

  • Full MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 and 7).
  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and MOT testing procedures.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills .
  • A valid driving licence .
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide professional advice.
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
