Key Responsibilities for the position of Logistics Manager:
Lead the transport operations function across the UK, overseeing a team of transport planners and managing relationships with external service providers.
Optimise warehouse capacity planning to ensure efficient use of space and alignment with inventory plans across various planning horizons.
Drive cost-to-serve analysis and lead the budgetary planning and forecasting for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, optimise storage layouts, and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with site operations, customer service, and logistics service providers to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve operational excellence.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to transform warehousing infrastructure and improve logistics processes, supporting the company’s strategic growth plans.

Key Experience Required for the position of Logistics Manager:
Proven experience in supply chain, transport planning, and logistics management, including experience with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset and experience in capacity planning within the S&OP framework.
Proficiency in SAP ERP (or similar) and transport management systems; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is desirable.
