Senior Mechanical Engineer An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a forward-thinking technical team working on a diverse range of innovative projects. You’ll collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams—mechanical, design, electronics, and software—to deliver integrated solutions that combine functionality and aesthetics. Most projects progress to market, so you’ll see the tangible impact of your work. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage specific work packages within complex product development projects. Develop creative, practical solutions to challenging engineering problems. Take ownership of technical deliverables while supporting and mentoring junior engineers. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, providing clear updates and technical insight. Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering (1st or Upper 2nd class) or equivalent technical qualification. Proven experience in product design or development, including use of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and computational techniques. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials, including rapid prototyping and high-volume production methods such as injection moulding. Ability to work on-site in the UK and eligibility to work in the UK. A proactive, “can-do” attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
