To contribute to an ongoing publication schedule of consumer and industry insight across key markets, categories and trends, primarily through the authoring of content, but also using data visualisation and data modelling techniques. The majority of analysis comes in the form of written reports published in PowerPoint, as well as briefer case studies and “expert views”.

The goal is to maintain and enhance GlobalData Consumer’s reputation as a provider of exceptional insight, helping the business decisions of hundreds of clients, ranging from start-ups to blue-chip companies.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be expected to be able to work independently to manage your own research projects, with occasional input from the senior management team. You may be required to work on projects such as primary research design, or bespoke deliverables for clients, and as a seasoned industry analyst, you will help to shape our research agenda by proposing new topics to add to our report portfolio. As a Senior Analyst you may also be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a team of analysts and editing their outputs to a client-ready standard, contributing to the overall production quality, process efficiency and industry knowledge of the team and company.

As a Senior Analyst, you will contribute to an ongoing publication schedule of consumer and industry insight across key markets, categories, and trends, primarily through the authoring of content, but also using data visualization techniques. Most of the analysis comes in the form of written reports published in PowerPoint, as well as briefer case studies and “analyst briefings”. The goal is to maintain and enhance GlobalData Consumer’s reputation as a provider of exceptional insight, helping the business decisions of hundreds of clients, ranging from startups to blue-chip companies.
- You will be expected to be able to work independently to manage your own content production and deadlines. You may be required to work on projects such as primary research design, or bespoke deliverables for clients, and as a seasoned industry analyst, you will help to shape our research agenda by proposing new topics to add to our report portfolio.
- You will also be on the front line of representing GlobalData to our customers via regular calls and meetings with key client contacts to bring them up to speed on our latest research or help them with insights into their own research projects. As a Senior Analyst you may also be responsible for the dayto-day supervision of a team of analysts and editing their outputs to a client-ready standard, contributing to the overall production quality, process efficiency and industry knowledge of the team and company.
- This role sits within the portion of the Consumer Research & Analysis team that works on the Health & Hygiene (Consumer Health, Household Care, Cosmetics & Toiletries) and Beverage sectors. We are therefore seeking an individual with a passion for insight and analysis across these areas.

An ability to analyse quantitative data, and an understanding of the key issues, FMCG trends, macro issues, and their impact the value chain and consumer behaviour.
- Experience of producing market analysis (such as manipulating and analysing data and producing meaningful insight) is desirable.
- Clientfacing skills (the ability to interact with and form relationships with key clients and meet weekly KPIs related to client calls) paired with commercial acumen and an ability to identify growth opportunities for them.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management frameworks.
