Maintenance Engineer

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, the successful professional will be integral to the team, applying their expertise to ensure the smooth running of the factory.

By conducting reactive maintenance and employing fault-finding techniques on a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment, each day will present a new set of engaging challenges.

The role entails taking responsibility for specific areas, managing planned maintenance schedules, and collaborating closely with factory operations to drive Continuous Improvements across the site. The Engineer will be tasked with ensuring that all maintenance requests from the PM system are addressed effectively.

You will possess engineering qualifications, ideally gained through a time-served apprenticeship, and will have garnered relevant engineering experience within a dynamic manufacturing setting. Experience within the FMCG or food industry, or a sector with comparable equipment, is highly advantageous.

A creative and innovative mindset is essential, coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities to navigate the fast-paced environment. This role is designed for those who are not only skilled in their craft but are also proactive in their approach to maintenance and improvement.
