Full-time, 37.Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.
Rigorously checking instruments, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments in trays to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment used in the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments.
Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).
Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.

Ongoing education leading to industry-recognised qualifications
Starting at 27 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays and increasing to 29 days after 5 years’ service and 33 days after 10 years’ service
