Pharmacist Band 4

Proven track record as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment. Proficient in:

  • Obtaining comprehensive drug histories
  • Assessing patients' own medications
  • Ordering and counseling patients on medications
  • Labeling and dispensing medications
  • Utilizing the JAC computer system

Holds the prestigious Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification. Backed by 2 years of hands-on experience in the NHS secondary care setting.

Pharmacist Band 5

Key Requirements for the Role:

  • MMT Ward Cover Experience: Proven ability to effectively manage medicines within a ward setting.
  • NHS Secondary Care Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in NHS secondary care, specifically in a ward environment.
  • Ward-Based Expertise: Skilled in conducting drug histories, performing medicines reconciliation, and executing clinical and TTA screening.
  • EPMA Proficiency: Essential experience with Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA), with a preference for Cerner, the system utilized at CHS.
