Apply online only) per dayA SEN teacher is needed for a special educational needs (SEN) school in North London for secondary school students aged 4-16.

As a SEN teacher, you will be working with students with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), including children with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD).

Being a SEN teacher at this school, you will become a part of a highly supportive team with exceptional senior leadership and fantastic resources.

Your responsibilities as a SEN teacher may include:

Lesson planning and delivery for students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs. This may include alternative teaching methods, such as Lego therapy and intensive interaction sessions.
Helping students to develop confidence and independence.
Working with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors, and psychologists
Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.To be a SEN teacher, you will need:

Early Career Teacher (ECT) with relevant experience will be considered.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained teacher awaiting QTS.
Experience working as an SEN teacher in a UK school.
