FTC, Communications Specalist

£40,000 pro rate.

5 day working week, 2 days in office.

My client is a Manchester based company, in the professional services industry, who is looking for a Communications Specialist to support them across their communications team.

Responsibilities:

Support the development, execution, and assessment of internal communication initiatives across the organisation.

Implement communication strategies and campaigns to aid colleagues and the business during a period of significant transformation and integration.

Collaborate with leaders and project teams to devise communication plans for business and transformational change, fostering transparency and empathy.

Create and disseminate various content types, including emails, articles, intranet posts, and presentations, to effectively convey key messages and promote success stories.

Ensure alignment of key messages with business strategy and values, and correlate communication objectives with business outcomes.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in internal communications, particularly in change management communication roles.

Preferably holds a qualification in communications or marketing-related field.

Proficient writing skills, capable of translating complex messages into clear, concise, and engaging narratives.

Ability to establish effective relationships swiftly and adeptly, across all organisational levels.

Strong creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft O365 tools, including SharePoint, with a capacity to quickly adapt to new systems.

Experience with email platforms would be preferable.
