We wish to appoint a dedicated and outstanding Business and Economics teacher to join our highly successful and popular department. This role is due to commence after Easter 2024 and is a result of the continued expansion of student numbers on the department at both GCSE and A Level.

The successful applicant will have high expectations, and will be a reflective practitioner who is always keen to develop and improve their teaching. They will appreciate their role in helping our students to have high aspirations, and they will share our belief that our students deserve an exceptional curriculum and the very best teaching. The ability to teach Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 Business and Key Stage 5 Economics is essential. A willingness to participate in Enterprise Education (in particularYoung Enterprise) would be an advantage. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and ECTs for post. A willingness to teach in another subject would be advantageous.

For the right candidate, there is a potential TLR 2b for Head of Year which can be included with this (please see other job post for the role and responsibilities for this).

Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys is an expanding and rapidly improving selective grammar school. It is undergoing a period of transformational change benefitting from a multi-million pound investment in Tunbridge Wells and a brand new building at our Sevenoaks campus, which opened in September 2021.
