This role is ideal for an individual looking to advance their career in Estimating, with the opportunity to work across a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience in construction estimating.

Assist in preparing and submitting accurate and competitive project tenders and estimates.

* Cost Estimation: Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to assess project requirements and produce accurate cost estimates.

* Subcontractor and Supplier Liaison: Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to compile competitive tenders.

* Data Analysis and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of tender outcomes, project costs, and historical pricing data to assist in future tendering.

* Risk and Value Engineering: Support value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities and manage potential project risks.

* Conduct site visits where necessary to gather data on project conditions, access, and other factors that may impact cost.

* Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide cost guidance.

* Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, prices, and materials costs to inform accurate estimates.

Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional training or certifications in Estimating or Cost Management are an advantage

* Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in construction estimating, preferably with a background in residential or commercial projects.
