Senior Commercial Legal Counsel - South Buckinghamshire
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, FMCG sector (50% remote, 50% office-based per month) - easy accessible from sounding counties
Salary: Up to 100k per annum plus car allowance, dual bonus, and benefits (excellent OTE)
Our client within the FMCG sector based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire area is now seeking Senior Commercial Legal Counsel to support predominantly across the UK with some work in the EMEA region. You'll work closely with senior management, key account managers, and cross-functional teams, advising on a variety of legal and regulatory matters.
Provide legal and regulatory guidance to senior management and key stakeholders.
Advise on anti-trust, data privacy, industry codes, and advertising regulations.
Offer ad hoc employment law advice to the HR team.
Develop legal processes, policies, and training materials.
Research and create legal briefings and guidance notes.
Handle miscellaneous legal queries and manage external counsel as directed.
Ideally have FMCG, Consumer Goods or Retail sector exposure, ideally in a multinational setting.
~ Strong UK contract law background, with effective negotiation skills
~ Understanding of European and US legal systems would be an advantage.
~ Familiarity with UK Bribery Act, FCPA, Modern Slavery Act, and UK Competition Law.
~ Pragmatic and risk-based approach.
~ Competitive base salary up to 100,000 per annum, plus car allowance, dual bonus and benefits.
Hybrid working arrangement, with a good split of office and remote working on offer.
