Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Finance and Operations Support Officer to join our team and provide crucial support to the Director of Operations and the leadership team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our finance and operations activities, contributing to the effective delivery of our social change initiatives.

Financial Administration:

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, expense tracking, and budget monitoring.
Process invoices, expense claims, and financial transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
Support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets as required.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as vendors, clients, and financial institutions to resolve queries and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
# Operational Support:

Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations and the leadership team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organising travel arrangements.
Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
# Data Management and Analysis:

Maintain databases and information systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Analyse data and generate insights to inform organisational decision-making and performance evaluation.
Compliance and Risk Management:

Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Support the implementation of internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard organisational assets and reputation.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
● Proven experience in financial administration, operations support, or related roles, preferably within the non-profit or social sector.
● Strong proficiency in financial management software, Microsoft Office suite, and data analysis tools.
