Contract - Supplier Quality Engineer (Inside IR35)
Remote working with visits to suppliers
- The Supplier Quality engineer will develop interior scopes from initial off tool phase
You will be part of the interior Supplier Quality Development team working with UK based Tier-1 suppliers and their plant in Europe
The position is very much a practical / project management role based in Procurement and the supply chain. You will be able to deliver PPAP requirements quickly and you will collaborate and find practical solutions to parts and process Quality challenges in a dynamic environment of automotive experts. Monitoring / critical path management offering practical process support to ensure key Automotive milestones are met. Ensuring effective countermeasures to secure necessary Quality and Delivery requirements.
Delivery of robust Product Quality & process robustness by application of PPAP process.
Experience gained at either a Tier 1 automotive supplier or automotive OEM.
Direct knowledge of parts and process development is essential as is familiarity with supplier quality management from concept-through-industrialisation-to-operation.
Support cross-functional change management projects.
Excellent project management skills.
This role does involve travel, primarily within UK, France and EU.
At ease working in English is a pre-requisite
