CLASS 2 DRIVER
Hours :Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm
30-32,750k Basic, discretional bonus based on group, branch and individual performance.
Experienced multi-drop delivery driver holding a CPC and clean driving licence, with Class 2 Licence. You will have good understanding of driving hours and loading will have a professional approach, excellent communication skills, be numerate with good attention to detail.Our client is a leading distributor of thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing servicing the fabrication and signage marketplace. Owned by the global leader in the manufacture of acrylics, the distribution team is ideally placed to deliver excellence in supplying and supporting their customers. As part of its expansion the company is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for their distribution centre in Weybridge; if successfully recruited you will experience a first-rate working environment, free on-site parking and numerous other benefits.
Key responsibilities for the Class 2 Driver role include, but are not limited to:
·Provide an “on time and in good condition” delivery service.
·Report any faults or accidents to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and complete the necessary documentation in a timely manner.
·Assist with the picking of goods in preparation for loading.
·Report all stock discrepancies, damages and/or stock picking errors to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager.
·Carry out other duties as requested by the Warehouse and Distribution Manager.
·Observe all aspects of Health and Safety within the sales and warehouse environment
The successful candidate will be an experienced Class 2 multi-drop delivery driver holding a CPC and clean driving licence. You will have good understanding of driving hours and loading will have a professional approach, excellent communication skills, be numerate with good attention to detail.
