Academics are working closely with a fantastic primary school based in Redbridge, London that are looking to recruit a passionate, enthusiastic and charismatic Learning Support Assistant to join their growing team in September 2024.

This is an extremely rewarding role, as you will have the opportunity to work 1:1/ group sessions with a child/ children with SEN needs, ensuring that they thrive and flourish academically.

With a fantastic and bespoke on boarding training programme, you will be equipped with the tools and skills to thrive throughout your career.

Supporting children with mild to moderate SEN including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Delay, Communication and Social interaction issues, mild behaviour issues.
Working with small groups of children on a 1:1 basis or in group settings to ensure progression in their learning.
Provide a calm and interactive approach to ensure children feel motivated during lessons.
Promote progression and celebrate the small wins, so that children feel motivated at all times.
Recognised Speech and Language degree or equivalent
BSL Degree or equivalent (desirable)
Good knowledge of SEN
Strong Maths, English and Science skills/ knowledge
Passion for working with children with SEND
