Environment and Sustainability Manager (Hybrid) Milton Keynes £55,000

T2M Resourcing are working with an exciting automotive business to recruit an Environment and Sustainability Manager (ESG Manager) to drive forward their ESG practices. Sustainability and technology are at the heart of their business and so this role is key for them. As Environment and Sustainability Manager, the role will lead the way on achieving ISO14001 and delivering key reporting requirements.

Key duties as Environment and Sustainability Manager:

  1. Lead changes and deliver processes to achieve ISO14001.
  2. Support department leaders in adapting to work in more sustainable ways.
  3. Develop a scalable ESG framework that supports the business’ growth plan.
  4. Provide training and information sharing across the organisation on ESG.
  5. Manage ESG data relating to waste, energy, and emissions.
  6. Stay updated on ESG requirements for government/grant funded projects/partnerships.
  7. Conduct auditing for ISO14001 standards.

Requirements to be successful as Environment and Sustainability Manager:

  1. Educational background and qualifications in environment and sustainability.
  2. Membership of relevant bodies, IEMA or CIWEM.
  3. Experience in delivering ESG frameworks and business change.
  4. Auditing qualifications or experience to achieve ISO14001.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills.
  6. Effective verbal and written communication.
  7. Ability to get hands-on with delivering ESG.
