Project Manager - Main Contractor- Prime Residential

London-based Main Contractor with a focus on Prime and Super Prime residential projects for high net worth clients across central London are looking to appoint a Design Manager on a permanent basis.

With a head office in London, their projects typically span prime postcodes such as St John's Wood, Hampstead and Kensington. They are a financially robust business with a turnover in excess of 100m.

The Role:

Project Manager to be site based on a c. 15m project delivering 9 luxury apartments in St John's Wood.

The Project Manager will also be expected to conduct such duties as:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize project programs
  • Identify and resolve problems before and during construction
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations and efficient project execution
  • Conduct regular meetings with site manager(s) to assess progress and monitor key risk areas
  • Oversee all aspects of Health & Safety on assigned sites
  • Work closely with the Procurement department to optimize material procurement
  • Generate monthly client reports and undertake monthly valuations Experience

Requirements:

  • Extensive UK-based experience in high-end residential construction
  • Proficient in professional project management best practices (PRINCE2 or equivalent)
  • Health & safety trained with a comprehensive understanding of CDM regulations
  • Expert knowledge of contracts
