• Maintain accurate records of all activities related to compliance, including permits, licenses, inspections, and any remedial actions taken.
• Ensure that all required documentation is complete, up-to-date, and easily accessible for regulatory audits or inspections.
• Support implementation of environmental stewardship programs aimed at minimizing the farm's ecological footprint and promoting sustainable practices.
• Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all farm personnel.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and address them promptly.
• Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as farm managers, supervisors, and workers, to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
You will have :
• An agricultural background would be a clear advantage
• Ability to build longstanding relationships across the farming community
• The ability to work within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
