Dynamics Specialist

Hutcheon Mearns are looking to recruit an ambitious finance professional to join our growing Insights team. The Insights service line focuses on business intelligence, financial process improvement and automation. Due to increasing client demand, we are looking for a determined and professional individual to help bring the service line’s benefits to a wider audience.
The individual will work closely with the wider Insights team to deliver business intelligence projects to our varied client-base, as well as assisting with the support requirements of existing clients.
The successful candidate will be an Accountant (either qualified or qualified by experience) with at least two years’ experience and will also have experience using Microsoft Power BI. Strong data modelling skills, ETL skills and DAX knowledge are key for this role. Strong knowledge of key financial processes including budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting are also essential for this position. Face to face client meetings will be part of the role, so while we are happy to consider remotely based candidates, you must be able to regularly attend meetings in Aberdeen/Dundee/Central Belt.
A desirable candidate will also be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel, including the development of Visual Basic macros; Experience in multiple finance systems would also be advantageous.
