Management Accountant
As a Management Accountant/ Finance manager you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. From calculating commissions for the sales team to processing payroll and preparing financial statements, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that are essential to the financial success. Overseeing a small finance team
Process payroll using Sage 50.
Handle pensions and PAYE submissions.
Serve as the main point of contact to supply information for the annual financial audit and produce annual statutory accounts.
Serve as the main point of contact to supply information for the annual corporation tax return.
Maintain fixed assets and process depreciation and amortization journals.
Produce analysis for stock takes and update cost pricing and stock revaluation.
Compile monthly management accounts pack.
Have full access to the bank for processing payroll and paying suppliers, including bank reconciliations.
Prepare cash forecasts and compare them to shipping forecasts.
Maintain credit card transactions.
Produce quarterly financial data for newsletters.
Import bank data into the system.
Proven experience in a similar management accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Sage 50 and other relevant financial software.
Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
