Due to an increase in workload, Global E&C have requirements for an experienced Senior Process Engineer & a Principal Process Engineer. These are contract opportunities working from our client office, in Aberdeen city centre. Working as part of a multi-discipline engineering team, you will be working on brownfield modification and decommissioning scopes. Your regular duties will include:

  1. Ensuring that assigned work is compliant to agreed budget and schedule.
  2. Production of discipline deliverables and input to multi-discipline deliverables.
  3. Maintaining project plan and providing progress updates for assigned scopes.
  4. Maintaining project scope/schedule change(s) in accordance with project change control process (as required in conjunction with Lead or Principal Engineer).
  5. Ensuring compliance to applicable/up to date standards, regulations, codes and procedures.
  6. Participate as design engineer (or as independent engineer where applicable) in various engineering review meetings such as HAZIDs, HAZOPs, SIL Assessment etc.
  7. Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

  1. Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering.
  2. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).
  3. Detailed Design experience.
  4. Prior experience on brownfield services contracts.
  5. Experience in the use of applicable codes, practices, standards, and statutory documentation.
  6. Competent in quality control and engineering procedures.
  7. Competent in aspects of discipline design (including multi-discipline) and use of process simulation packages.
  8. Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and self-discipline.
