We have an amazing opportunity for a Pipelines Technician to join our Network Maintenance team throughout our Yorkshire network.

Your role as a Pipelines Technician is to undertake plant protection activities on NGNs >2 pipe network and maintenance on NGN's cathodic protection systems and associated assets across the area.

The role will also contribute to delivering the Annual Maintenance Plan across the Pipelines and wider Network Maintenance team.

Ensuring the decommissioning, installation, commissioning, validation, modification and repair work in accordance with appropriate policies, procedures and statutory requirements to produce optimum technical performance and reliability of equipment/systems in compliance with health, safety and environmental best practice

•Undertake or participate in plant inspection

•Maintain accurate records of activities to satisfy Maintenance and Capital Projects, NGN, third party and legislative requirements

•Work towards all perimetry requirements and procedures affecting the NGN network

•You will undertake maintenance activities on cathodic protection systems and repair and re-place components

• You will have experience working in a gas network and an understanding of pipeline opera-tions

• You will be responsible for attending and monitoring 3rd party and in house works in and around HP and IP pipelines

• You will use IT in the field for work reporting

• capable of planning your own activities with strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills

• Hold a full UK driving licence
