Domestic Gas Engineer / ASHP Engineer Position

Domestic Gas Engineer / ASHP Engineer required for our client, a mechanical building services provider operating throughout the Hampshire area and surrounding areas. They are seeking a domestic gas engineer with ASHP experience to carry out servicing and repair work on plumbing and heating equipment in new build properties.

Remuneration:
  • Salary: £38,000 to £40,000
  • Van and fuel card
  • Working hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Travel: Allocated within working hours
  • Company phone
  • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

The Domestic Gas Engineer / Plumbing and Heating Engineer should have proven experience in servicing and repair work in domestic housing, as well as some experience with ASHPs. The Gas Engineer must hold ACS domestic gas qualifications, including CCN1 and CENWAT / CEN1. Working within the designated area, the engineer must be based within a commutable distance of Fareham. Tasks include servicing and repairing boilers, general plumbing work, and ASHP servicing.

Position Requirements:
  • Experience in servicing and repairing domestic boilers
  • Full ACS Domestic qualifications
  • Unvented qualification
  • Experience in general plumbing works
  • Experience in servicing air source heat pumps
  • Based within commutable distance of Fareham
  • Full UK driving license
