FX Dealer

An innovative FinTech, specialized in providing cutting-edge financial solutions that revolutionize how corporate clients engage with emerging market transactions, are searching for an FX Dealer to lead trading in Emerging Market currencies.

The team are searching for a highly skilled and proactive FX Dealer to focus on trade execution across a range of emerging market currencies, with a particular emphasis on African currencies. This role is critical in supporting our expanding operations and will collaborate closely with Business Development and Partnerships teams to drive market presence and enhance trading capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Currency Trading Leadership: Serve as the trading lead for execution of both G10 and Emerging Market currencies, with a special focus on African and Asian markets.
• Trading Execution Support: Provide robust trading support for specific currencies including NGN (Nigerian Naira), GHS (Ghanaian Cedi), KES (Kenyan Shilling), and XOF (West African CFA franc) in both Spot and Forward transactions.
• Sales and Development Support: Make outbound sales calls to potential clients and partners, effectively communicating our trading services and capabilities to foster business growth.
• Broker and Partner Onboarding: Take charge of onboarding inter-broker dealers, managing relationships, and negotiating terms and fees to enhance our trading network and capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in FX trading, particularly with emerging market currencies.
• Strong understanding of economic factors affecting emerging market currencies.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed trading decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills, with a proven track record of successfully onboarding and managing broker relationships.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively promoting our trading solutions to new and existing clients.
