Junior Product Owner

Gift & Go is an award-winning SaaS gifting technology platform which enhances the way that companies reward and reinforce customer loyalty. The platform enables companies to build, manage and publish powerful marketing and rewards campaigns, leveraging its access to product, logistical superiority and global footprint of leading retailers such as Amazon Business. We enable businesses to acquire and retain customers via global gifting technology.

We are now recruiting for a Junior Product Owner. The candidate will be supporting the Head of Product in daily tasks relating to the Gift & Go product. This is a critical role that supports the product and development teams to ensure successful delivery of all technology related projects

The candidate will report directly to the Head of Product and will be responsible for the daily tasks necessary during an extremely busy period of growth. The successful candidate must be a pro-active self-starter with a high attention to detail who will thrive in a start-up environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Product in the various daily tasks needed to continue the rapid growth trajectory of the business.

Daily duties will include.

  • Creating development tickets in Jira and other systems
  • Creating more detailed acceptance criteria
  • Test and approve tickets once completed
  • Release testing
  • Backlog refinement
  • Documentation (general)
  • Running agile ceremonies
  • Reporting updates to other teams in the business

· Gathering, evaluating, and analysing business and user requirements

· Building, maintaining and configuring properly defined and detailed epics & user stories that follow product strategy

· Maintaining our product's backlog and releases plan

· Following long-term vision for product evolution

· Making product development status and progress visible to necessary stakeholders and realising their ROI

· Managing project/product scope, schedule, dependencies, communication, and stakeholders

· Communicating with solid arguments the product's plans, issues, and general insights to different stakeholders

Experience

- Must have a passion for product. experience in an independent IT product management position is necessary.

- Previous experience of working for a technology start-up is highly desirable

- High level of proficiency and experience in MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)

- Ability to decompose a high-level concept into business requirements and concrete product backlog

- Strong project management skills (experience with Agile methodology would be a plus)

- Great interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to communicate project progress and results in a clear and interesting way

- A ‘get it done’ attitude

- Fluent English in speech and writing
