Job Description:

Position Overview:

 

We are looking for a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology team and oversee the development and execution of all technical aspects of the company. We at Faghani Limited are seeking to expand our business by applying for an electronic money institution (EMI) license and are therefore looking for an ideal candidate with a strong grasp of the payment and electronic money services landscape. The CTO will collaborate with other executives to set and drive the company's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

 

•⁠ ⁠ Technology Strategy: Develop, execute, and communicate strategic technology plans to achieve business goals.

•⁠ ⁠ Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

•⁠ ⁠ Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation to maintain a competitive edge.

•⁠ ⁠ Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of innovative electronic money solutions.

•⁠ ⁠ Cybersecurity: Ensure robust security protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements to protect sensitive financial data.

•⁠  ⁠Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to drive coherent and effective product strategies.

•⁠ ⁠ Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.

•⁠ ⁠ Budgeting: Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

 

•⁠ ⁠ Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•⁠ ⁠ Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in the payment and electronic money services or fintech sector.

•⁠ ⁠ Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software development, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements in the financial industry.

•⁠ ⁠ Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technology teams.

•⁠ ⁠ Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and execution skills.

•⁠ ⁠ Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

•⁠ ⁠ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
