About the Position: Henniker, part of the AIM-listed Judges Scientific group (JDG), develops hi-tech products and processes which solve adhesion-related problems. Our technologies are used worldwide in both university research and advanced manufacturing industries such as biotechnology, aerospace, and medical devices, where they are used to extend product lifetime, reduce waste, and at the same time add significant functional value. We wish to support continued growth by welcoming a talented Marketing Manager to the team. Working closely with the Sales and Senior Leadership teams, and reporting directly to the managing director, the successful candidate will assume overall responsibility for marketing strategy, with a primary focus on relationship marketing, lead generation, and data analysis. Experience of marketing for B2B is essential, and a background or exposure to engineering or high-tech related industries would be an advantage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and respected business within their industry. NO AGENTS PLEASE. Key responsibilities include:
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
- Content Creation: Oversee the production of high-quality, SEO-optimised content for B2B scientific and industrial markets.
- Campaign Support: Create content to drive lead generation, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Performance Measurement: Track, analyse, and report on content performance, using data-driven insights to optimise strategies and improve ROI.
- Paid Media Strategy: Develop strategies for amplifying content reach, managing campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Conversion Optimisation: Focus on improving lead quality and conversion rates and creating value.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a small marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the Sales team to ensure consistent lead generation in line with marketing spend, providing recommendations as needed.
- Group Interaction: Establish working relationships and be part of the wider group marketing network.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally with technology or engineering related B2B environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships and lead a small team.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on value propositions.
- Ability to make technical content accessible to a broader audience while maintaining scientific accuracy.
- Skilled at translating technical information into clear, concise messaging for various audiences.
- Expertise in content creation across multiple formats and platforms.
- Experience managing budgets and external partners/agencies.
- Proficient in some or all of SEO, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Joomla, Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Webinar/Video software, and the latest digital marketing tools and trends.
