Bookkeeper - Huntingdon

We have an opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The role will be based at our Huntingdon office and the successful candidate will ideally have previous bookkeeping experience in an accountancy practice environment.

The successful candidate will be providing bookkeeping and management accounting services to a wide range of our clients and, as a result, will experience a varied and enjoyable role.

Responsibilities will include:

• preparation of financial and management information;
• maintaining sales and purchase ledgers;
• bank and cash account reconciliation;
• supporting clients with advice in respect of management information and financial reporting;
• VAT returns preparation and reconciliation;
• preparation of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns.

The successful applicant will have experience with using a range of cloud accounting software, in particular Xero and Hubdoc and will have a keen eye for attention to detail.
