TEXO Recruitment are searching for a Mechanical Fitter on behalf of our external client, on a permanent, full time basis.

The job will be based in Stonehaven when onshore and would be working in a team within a very well equipped workshop. Work consists of mechanical fitting duties including but not limited to; dismantling and rebuilding a variety of mechanical and hydraulic equipment for example heat exchangers, pumps, turret gripper assemblies and a variety of components; completing pressure testing and carrying out maintenance of company plant and vehicles.

Salary dependent on experience.

The candidate should also have the following:

* Problem solver/inventive

* A basic understanding of electrical systems

* Understand mechanisms, and be comfortable with hydraulics

* High attention to detail

* Offshore experience and in date offshore certificates are but not essential.

* MJI, SBT and shell and tube heat exchanger experience are but not essential.
