Here at VIVO, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Manager to develop and provide structured asset lifecycle planning and maintenance strategies to our United States Visiting Forces contract.
This role will see you develop, update and maintain an accurate asset lifecycle plan, create and design an industry leading reporting function for asset renewal and enhanced maintenance strategies, improve systems and processes, Forward Works and Lifecycle Issues to support an improved user and customer experience and identify business critical reports, and introduce Risk Based Maintenance to customers who require it.
In addition to this, you will provide input to the Sales team on the development of new business techniques on Asset Management and Lifecycle Reporting, be the first point of contact for subcontractor surveyors, manage the surveying tool Mobiess and train staff and engineers on the best practice for managing the CAFM and using the asset collection tools.
This is a standalone role, although you will collaborate with the Asset Manager who looks after the other USVF sites for the contract, as well as work closely with our Operational and Technical Management teams as part of your role.
You will be expected to travel between all sites as and when required so candidates must be prepared to work from other sites at least 2 days per week.
First and foremost, you should be an experienced Asset Manager, ideally from an FM background, although we can consider candidates from any industry.
It would be beneficial if you hold a n industry recognised qualification in engineering, building services, management or facilities management (ILM, HNC, HND or equivalent vocational qualification), however, candidates with strong working experience and knowledge of asset management will be considered regardless of qualifications.
It is essential that you have a good understanding of replacement asset costing and lifecycles, a proven track record in the management of asset data bases and CAFM Systems, proven client management skills with the confidence to deal with people at all levels and excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
You should be proficient in the use of IT, including CAFM systems, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, with good written communication skills including report writing, proven financial awareness, a keen eye for detail and be capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to pass SC Clearance and hold a full UK driving licence.
