Key Responsibilities:
*Leadership and management of the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
*Development and implementation of a dynamic curriculum that engages and challenges students.
*Monitoring and evaluating the performance of staff and students in the department.
*Budget management and resource allocation for the Maths department.
*Leading professional development of the Maths teaching staff.
*Enhancing the profile of the Maths department within the school and wider community.
*Ensuring compliance with national curriculum guidelines and school policies.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
*Extensive teaching experience in Mathematics at the secondary level, with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice.
*Previous leadership experience within an educational setting, preferably in a Maths department.
*Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
*Ability to inspire, lead, and motivate staff and students alike.
*Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
*Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
*Capacity to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment.
