About the Role: In this position, you'll offer individualised support to a student with Autistic Sepectrum Disorder. Your role will involve creating a supportive atmosphere where the student can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. This opportunity is perfect for someone with a background in supporting vulnerable children and a genuine dedication to inclusive education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to the student, focusing on their unique requirements.
  • Aid the student with their academic pursuits, facilitating their learning and growth.
  • Cultivate an inclusive environment that encourages positive behavior and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with the school's SENCO, teachers, and support staff to ensure the student's needs are comprehensively addressed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable children, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Possession of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students with ASD needs.
