Senior Network Architect - Azure
Hybrid (2 Days in office)

Paying up to £110,000 (depending on experience) + full package

We are working in partnership with a global law firm who specialise in financial law and need a Senior Network Architect to come in and join their existing team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the installation and configuration of network hardware and kit such as routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers as well as monitoring of network performance across their WAN, LAN and Wireless networks.

Install and configure network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs and any other relevant ancillaries typical to the role.
Inspect, maintain, and where necessary replace network cabling and other network-related equipment.
Update and present Network Roadmap strategy to IT Leadership Team.
Be a clear lead in the network, internet voice and video technology space for the firm globally.
Advise the CTO/Lead Infrastructure Architect and the rest of the IT Leadership team on network and comms technology and supplier recommendations to help the firm meet its IT strategy.
Deep technical IP networking technologies knowledge with SDN experience and security.
Researching network technologies and staying up to date on advancements in the field

Proven experience in selecting, designing and overseeing the deployment of traditional LAN, WAN, and WLAN solutions.
Proven experience of datacentre network design including leveraging top of rack, end of row, core and edge switch deployments as well as working with converged infrastructure and software defined networking technology.
Experience with working with MPLS WAN Networks, SD-WAN including Microsoft ExpressRoute, vWAN and Direct Access.
Experience with deploying network appliances to Azure as well as Azure network functions like Azure Traffic Manager.
