We have a fantastic permanent opportunity to join a global organisation and be part of a great team travelling to various locations around the world. This role will require flexibility to travel globally to meet our clients requirements. 17-20 working days per month(inclusive of travel)
They are offering a competitive salary depending on experience.
Initial training will be arranged from their North West based facility.
This is a key service role, servicing, repairing, installing, commissioning and monitoring systems onboard ocean-going ships and shipyards.
Your background should include working on electrical, electronic and mechanical systems and you should be comfortable in fault-finding systems that include PLC and PC based software environments. A full in-depth system training will be provided.
Provide on-ship resource for service and repair.
Provide sufficient technical competence and manage own spares holding/liaise with spares/service coordination team to provide first-time fix.
Provide customer distance support Contact with customers to provide work instructions etc. You will work closely with the Service Manager to help efficiently schedule your visits
Updating inhouse systems with service information reports
You will be expected to learn and implement the companies HSQE policy. Demonstrate an ability to devise and implement plans to grow business performance.
Ideally 3 years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
