Excell Supply are currently recruiting passionate Teaching Assistants to work in our Primary Schools across the Chester area.
Do you have previous experience working with children or young people?
Or are you looking for a change in your career and have the transferrable skills to work with children?
Can you provide support to both the children and the Teacher?
If the answer is yes to the above, then we want to hear from you
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and supervision for children across primary
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behaviour and development
- Support the teacher by delivering and implementing activities
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clear criminal background check
