Are you a budding Ray Mears? An ex-marine? A seasoned camper?

Do you get a buzz out of helping young people improve themselves?

Do you enjoy the Outdoors?

Can you inspire young people at each stage of their DofE adventure?

Taking part in the expedition section of the DofE Award can provide participants with some of the most exhilarating and exciting experiences and memories. However this only happens if they are well prepared

Skills

We are looking for volunteers who can train our participants in basic expedition techniques - reading a compass, finding a suitable pitch and erecting a tent, etc.

We are urgently looking for volunteer leaders and trainers in the following locations:

  • Accessibility
    Various centres will have accessibility.
  • Age restrictions
    18+
  • Health and Safety Policy
  • Ongoing support
    You will be volunteering with experienced leaders who will help support you with your role.
  • Training provided
    You will be able to access DofE specific training.
  • Volunteers covered by insurance
    Covered by Hampshire County Council Insurance policy, once registered and appropriate checks have been made.
