Project Manager Do not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity. Ventro are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our team based in London. The primary role of a Project Manager is to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within the budget and according to H&S and the client’s requirements. This role is site and home based. Requirements:

  • CSCS (Or Equivalent)
  • SMSTS (Or Equivalent)
  • Emergency First Aid at Work (3 Day Course preferred)
  • Fire Marshall
  • Fire compliance industry experience, ie fire door installation or fire compartmentation
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, Project) and comfortable with QA systems, ie HILTI uploads and monitoring
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
  • FIRAS/BMTRADA (Doors and/or Fire Stopping)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prince/NVQ L6 (or equivalent) in construction management
  • Preferred 3 years experience in a project management role
  • Experience in fire stopping/fire doors/social housing/interior fit out
Main Responsibilities: • Site Health and Safety Inc; Rams, Toolbox Talks, site signage, understanding of asbestos registers, safe working practices, reporting near misses and accidents, raising F10
  • Chairing formal meetings
  • Building control liason
  • Weekly reports
Inc; Progress, delays, Health & Safety, requests for information
  • Write and track Gantt charts
  • Managing materials on site and stock levels
  • Managing 3-5 live projects at a time
  • Problem solving
  • Managing and resolving disputes
  • Managing sub contract teams
