To support the development, implementation and evaluation of East Kent Hospitals' communications and engagement strategy by planning and delivering communications activity using the full communications and marketing mix, leading on the day-to-day media relations and social media activity within the team

Main duties of the job

Lead on the day-to-day media relations activity in the team, including writing and editing press releases, preparing briefings for external stakeholders and co-ordinating visits and official openings. Act as a spokesperson for the Trust in briefing the media.

Coordinate social media activity, supporting creative, engaging and accessible content for the Trust's social media channels, including Facebook, X, Instagram and Linkedin.
