Electrical / Electronic Engineer

Job Title: Electrical / Electronic Engineer

Location: Rochford, Essex

Salary: £37K - £40K

Shift: Days

Industry: Safety Critical Components

Company Description:

A globally recognised manufacturer of safety critical components is looking to recruit an Electrical / Electronic Engineer to join their team due to further expansion.

Responsibilities:

* Support capture of customer software and systems requirements

* Prepare new electrical drawings and modify existing drawings.

* Assist in verification and qualification test activities.

* Input customer requirements into system and software product requirements.

* Prepare procedures and documentation for product verification, validation and qualification.

* Software validation

* Provide system integration guidance to Design team during the initial design of a range of products regarding system electrical architecture, software design and operation, design for EMC, wiring schematics and safety related issues.

Skills & Experience:

* HNC/HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering discipline

* Experience of Electrical, EMC or software test plan creation

* Experience of DO160 electrical and EMC test requirements

* Knowledge of electronic component selection and substitution

This position is commutable from:

* Southend on Sea, Rochford, Rayleigh, Wickford, Daws Heath, South Benfleet
