We are looking for a Head Nurse to manage the daily operational organisation of the small animal clinical team to ensure excellent teamwork and the highest level of clinical care. Maintaining a weekly nurse and vet rota for day shifts and inpatient out-of-hours cover
• Responsibility for HR tasks such as timesheet administration, return to work discussions and individual performance reviews.
• Working with other teams to set out our business plan to meet practice performance metrics.
• Being responsible for the training and development of the nursing team
• The practice sits at the heart of the local community and has provided veterinary care for over 100 years. The practice has a strong ethos around maintaining a healthy work/life balance and supporting each other’s wellbeing. We do not operate an out-of-hours rota however on rare occasions, inpatient care may be required during the week for hospitalised patients. Your Shift Pattern
This is a full-time shift pattern, however, we can offer flexible working patterns for the right candidate. You will work 40 hours across 5 days between 8 am – 7 pm, including 1:5 Saturday mornings, inpatient care out-of-hours only.
