My client develops and produces high-precision laboratory instruments as well as process measurement technology and provides custom-tailored automation and robotics solutions. Providing solutions to 110 countries, and starting their growth in the UK, they are looking for a Field Services Engineer to execute service operations to the highest level, upholding an emphasis on quality and customer service. Plan and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration activities detailed in service contracts, and complete all relevant documents in CRM according to the Corporate Service Standards and KPIs designated by the Service Manager.
Plan and execute instrument repairs at customer sites (or if required in the workshop) and complete all relevant documents/admin in CRM.
Provide remote telephone or online support to customers
Carry out installations as requested by the Sales Dept and complete all relevant activities and checks to complete the documents/admin in CRM
ONC/HNC in Electronics & Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Relevant experience in the service industry – working at customer sites and undertaking field maintenance, repairs and installations on complex analytical instrumentation.
Ability to interpret scientific / Analytical data and act accordingly to resolve customer queries.
