In this pivotal role reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance & Analysis, the Group FP&A Manager at Sky Mavis will lead the financial planning and analysis functions of our organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the finance team to implement new processes and play a vital role in shaping the financial landscape. Additionally, the Group FP&A Manager will engage with the business strategy team, providing indispensable support for commercial deals, contributing to the financial aspects of strategic initiatives.
Beyond traditional FP&A responsibilities, this role at Sky Mavis involves actively participating in setting key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the wider business. Financial Planning 

Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Work closely with department and product heads to understand business drivers and key assumptions for accurate financial modeling.
Ensure alignment of financial plans with overall strategic goals and objectives.
Analysis and Reporting

Prepare and present comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track financial and operational performance.
Provide insightful commentary and recommendations to senior management based on analysis results.
Monitor budget performance and collaborate with department heads to ensure adherence to financial plans.
Forecasting and Scenario Planning

Develop and maintain robust forecasting models to assess potential scenarios and their impact on financial outcomes.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions.
Partner with the Sky Mavis business strategy team to provide financial insights and support in commercial deal evaluations.
Collaborate with the key stakeholders to set meaningful KPIs that align with organizational goals and drive performance improvements.

Contribute to the development and assessment of financial aspects related to strategic initiatives .
Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends in financial planning and analysis.
Work closely with the finance team to implement new processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial planning and analysis.

~7+ years of FP&A or finance business partnering experience, with a track record of managing teams.
~ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
~ Experience in data modeling, and simplifying complex data into compelling, clear, and actionable insights using Excel and reporting tools.
~ Good knowledge of core finance systems, ERP and related specialty functional systems, frameworks, and functionality.
~ Experience in Budgeting and Planning tool implementation would be an advantage.
~ Commercial mindset with an ability to influence senior stakeholders.
~ Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with a proactive approach, accustomed to working towards tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality of work.
~ Strong stakeholder management skills, able to lead by example, hold teams, customers, and partners to account.
~ Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and succinct manner.
